Prius Jack Stand Placement

Prius Jack Stand Placement. The jack supplied with the Prius is intended for use when lifting one corner of the car at a time. On the locations noted to lift in the manual there would not be room to place jack stands next to the jack and then lower the vehicle.

Ive taken a few different pictures to get some advice if these places would be suitable to a floor jack and/or jack stand placements. My next project is to fix the parking brake (doesn't work at all) so I need to lift. Our favorite spot for jack stand placement is under the forward ends of the uni-body frame rails (referred to previously for jack placement on early models).

Placement of the jack stands depends on if you're wanting droop or not.

Reposition jack under front crossmember and lift entire front of car.place stands under front jack points at desired height.

Jack stands go at the frame right in front of the wheel or at the springs shackles depending on if I want the suspension to droop or not.
