I think something is wrong with the system, and am going to take it to today. Be warned that if you're going to dwell in a Prius that a major point often missed by dwellers is the susceptibility of the Prius to rodent infestations. RIght now i am three thousand miles away from an oil change.

It just might be a minor leak of hydraulic brake fluid ect.

I go to start it this morning (which I should mention has been by far the coldest morning since Ive had it) and it wouldnt properly turn on initially, but when I turned it off and then back on it started as usual. Designed to alert potential theives that the alarm is active.
